Terms of Use

1. About the Service
AgentApp24 helps individuals, families, clubs and small businesses stay organised. The Service provides shared calendars, tasks, folders, events, reminders and messaging, together with an AI assistant (the "Agent") that answers questions and carries out actions on your instruction.
Every account includes a private Personal space. You may also create or join shared spaces for a family, a business, a club or any other group.
The Service may be used for both personal and business purposes.
AgentApp24 is provided as a web application, accessed through a browser. We do not currently offer a mobile app.
2. Who We Are
AgentApp24 is operated by TopBamboo Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 12868964
Email: info@topbamboo.co.uk
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (the minimum digital consent age in the UK);
- Provide a valid email address to register; and
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activities under your account.
If you suspect unauthorised use, contact us immediately at info@topbamboo.co.uk.
Accounts are personal to you. You must not share your login with anyone else. If other people need access to your information, invite them to a shared space rather than sharing your account.
4. Shared Spaces and Invitations
The Service is built around spaces. Your Personal space is private to you. A shared space has members, and each member sees only the folders they have been granted access to.
If you create a shared space you become its Admin. As an Admin you:
- Control who is invited, who is removed, and which folders each member can see;
- May promote other members to Admin;
- Are responsible for ensuring that the people you invite are entitled to see the information in that space.
If you join a shared space created by someone else, you accept that:
- The Admin decides what you can see and do in that space;
- Other members with access to a folder can see, and may be able to edit, what you put in it;
- The Admin may remove you from the space at any time, after which you will no longer be able to see its contents.
Content you contribute to a shared space may remain visible to the remaining members after you leave, so that their records stay intact. If you need such content removed, ask the Admin of that space, or contact us.
Only invite people who expect to hear from you. You are responsible for the invitations you send.
5. Your Content
You may create tasks, events, notes, comments, messages, lists, links and pasted images ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content at all times.
By creating User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, transmit and process it only for the purpose of operating, securing and improving the Service — including sharing it with the other members of a space, as you have directed.
You confirm that:
- You have the necessary rights or permissions to upload the User Content;
- The User Content does not infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights;
- The User Content is not illegal, offensive, or harmful.
Where your User Content includes information about other people — a family member's appointment, an employee's task, a club member's contact details — you are responsible for handling that information lawfully and fairly.
We may remove or restrict access to any User Content that breaches these Terms or applicable UK law.
6. The Agent and AI Features
Every account includes an Agent: an assistant you can ask questions in ordinary language, and instruct to carry out actions such as creating a task or scheduling an event.
You should understand the following before relying on it.
- The Agent asks before it acts. Where the Agent proposes to create, change or delete something, it shows you what it intends to do and waits for you to confirm. You are responsible for what you approve. Please read a proposal before accepting it.
- The Agent can be wrong. It is built on third-party AI models, and its answers and suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and you must not rely on it for legal, financial, medical, tax or safety decisions.
- Your content is processed by third parties. To answer you, the Agent sends relevant parts of your content to the AI providers we use. We choose providers that do not train their models on that content, but you should not put information into the Agent that you would be unwilling to have processed by a third-party service.
- Use may be limited. Agent usage consumes resources that cost us money. We may apply fair and reasonable limits, and we may introduce an allowance or charge for heavy use, with notice under section 11.
7. Links to Your Documents, and Other Services
The Service lets you pin links to documents held in your own storage — OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive or elsewhere.
We store the web address and a label. We never store the file itself, and we do not control who can open it. Adding a link to a space does not grant anyone access to the underlying document. If you want colleagues or family members to be able to open a linked file, you must share it with them in the service where it is stored.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, or security of third-party services you link to, or for any access granted or withheld by them.
The one exception is images pasted directly into a comment, which we do store, within the limits shown in the app.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously.
We collect and process personal data such as your name and email address, together with the content you create in the Service, so we can:
- Create and manage your account;
- Operate shared spaces and show your name and activity to the other members of those spaces;
- Send you reminders, notifications and service messages;
- Provide the Agent; and
- Keep the Service secure and improve it.
All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For more details, please see our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- Collect or harvest data from other users;
- Use automated systems (e.g. bots or scrapers) without our consent;
- Use the Service, or a shared space, to harass, bully or intimidate anyone;
- Attempt to gain access to a space, folder or account you have not been given access to;
- Use the Agent to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful material.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or applicable law.
10. Availability and Changes to the Service
The Service is under active development. We add, change and occasionally remove features. Where a change materially reduces what the Service does for you, we will tell you in advance where it is reasonable to do so.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, and we will try to keep any such interruption short and, where planned, notified.
Reminders and notifications are a convenience, not a guarantee. They depend on email delivery and other systems outside our control. Please do not rely on the Service as the only safeguard for anything critical.
11. Charges
The Service is currently provided free of charge.
We may introduce paid plans or usage allowances in future. If we do, we will give you clear notice beforehand, explain what is included at each level, and give you the opportunity to decline and to export or delete your content. We will not start charging you for something you are already using without your agreement.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All content and materials on the Service (excluding User Content) — including software, text, images, design, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to TopBamboo Limited.
You may use them only as necessary to use the Service.
You must not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time within your account settings.
We may suspend or permanently close your account if:
- You breach these Terms; or
- We are required to do so by law or regulation.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Your Personal space and its contents will be deleted. Content you contributed to shared spaces may remain with those spaces, as described in section 4. We may retain certain data for a limited period as required by law or our Privacy Policy.
Before closing your account, please export anything you wish to keep.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights under UK law.
If you are a consumer, you have certain statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cannot be excluded by these Terms.
If you are using the Service for the purposes of a business, the consumer protections in this section do not apply to you.
15. Our Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
- Any loss of profit, business, contracts or anticipated savings;
- Any loss of data or content;
- Any loss arising from a reminder or notification that was not delivered, was delivered late, or was missed;
- Any loss arising from your reliance on an answer or suggestion given by the Agent.
However, we do not exclude or limit our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- Any matter where it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements.
We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification.
By continuing to use the Service after an update, you agree to the new Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the UK, any disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or — if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland — you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
